[CoovaChilli] Release convention

There was a discussion that happened on github issues some time back on
the subject of release convention & numbering to reflect state of code base.
I think the added complexity for such conventions is a burden in our
caese which hold back the rate of frequent releases. It would be better
to release frequently and increment the release number by one for the
time being until there is a need to for some convention with more
meaning (off with a light start).
With this method each release is a marker for a period of time since the
last release and nothing more.
This makes it easier to isolate when a particular issue arose rather
than with much longer release cycles with changes that span a wider time
Any Thoughts, praise or objections?
